Do you want to make a difference as a teacher in your home community? If you are a graduating senior from Tacoma Public Schools or Franklin Pierce School District, or graduated in the last two years and are not currently enrolled in a four-year university, you can apply.

STEP 2 - Apply to PLU by January 15

STEP 3 - Attend in-person interview event on campus

Once you’ve completed an interest form and if you are admitted to PLU, you will be notified on February 15 if you are being invited to attend an in-person interview event on campus at PLU on Saturday, March 9.

STEP 4 - Final decisions

You will be notified by email on March 14 whether you have been selected to join the next Seed Teachers cadre. If selected, you will receive an updated financial aid award and will have until May 1 to commit to the program and accept your offer to PLU.
